Chemical Foaming Agents for Polyolefin Extrusion
For the extrusion of polyolefins granular masterbatch foaming agents are preferred because
they can be easily dosed directly to the extruder. A wide range of products differing in base
polymer, foaming agent content and decomposition temperature is available to cover the
range of processing parameters and requirements. Chemical foaming agents used in the
extrusion of polyolefins are mostly endothermic.
